Born in 1968 in Brescia. Son of sculptor Remo Bombardieri, from a young age he spent a lot of time in his father’s studio refining his technical knowledge while at the same time going to art school. In addition to the creation of figurative sculptures, mostly of large dimension, he creates works related to Arte Povera, conceptual art and video-installation. His artistic research builds on the reflection, not without philosophical influence, of various themes, such as time and its perception, the experience of pain in Western culture, man and the meaning of existence. His work starts from tangible reality to reach inner worlds, fantastic universes.

Since the nineties he has exhibited in public spaces and galleries, preferring a dialogue between work and urban space.
His installations include those in the centre of Ferrara, Faenza, Bologna, Saint Tropez and Potsdam.
In 2009 in the picturesque setting of Pietrasanta he presented his personal work The animals count down.
He also participated in the 52nd and the 54th Venice Biennale. He divides his time working between Italy, France and Germany.
